What can you do as a volunteer?Work with Children
We are seeking volunteers to lead weekly hour-long workshops, such as martial arts, gardening, graphic design, or a gaming club! What are you good at? Let us know! Food & Supply Pantry Our Food & Supply Pantry operates Tuesday - Friday from 1pm - 3pm, with volunteer shifts starting at 11am. Volunteers assist pantry staff with unloading truckings, sorting deliveries, packing and distributing food, and clean up. Maintenance Work
General indoor and outdoor maintenance work. Either as an individual or as a group, we'd love your help. Volunteer Groups
We welcome volunteer groups from corporate partners, universities, and community organizations. For more information about scheduling a volunteer day for your group at the Center, contact Zach Goldhammer (Director of Engagement & Partnerships). PLEASE NOTE: We ask all volunteer groups to make an honorary donation to support the project planning and/or day-of supervision of the group. Board Service & Fundraising
We are always interested in recruiting active, community-minded individuals to serve on our board of directors. We meet monthly, with the exception of summer months, to set policy and strategic direction for the Center. If you have grant writing, event planning, or other fundraising expertise, we can use your help! We depend on donations from individuals, foundations, and businesses to keep providing our many services to the community. |
