Volunteering at The Center
"What can you do as a volunteer?"
Work with Children
We need volunteers to tutor children with homework and reading. We are also looking for volunteers to lead weekly hour-long workshops, such as martial arts, gardening, graphic design, or a gaming club! What are you good at? Let us know!
Cambridge Winter Farmers Market & The Coast Kitchen
CWFM, a program of the Cambridge Community Center, runs every Saturday from January to April and always needs some helping hands. The Coast Kitchen is a free monthly community meal program. It runs every third Friday of the month, and we can always use volunteers to help set up and clean up!
General indoor and outdoor maintenance work. Either as an individual or with a group organization, we'd love your help
Volunteer in Groups
Due to high demand for group volunteer days at CCC we are only accepting new volunteer groups through Boston Cares.
Board Service & Fundraising
We are always interested in recruiting active, community-minded individuals to serve on our board of directors. We meet monthly, with the exception of summer months, to set policy and strategic direction for the Center.
If you have grant writing, event planning, or other fundraising expertise, we can use your help! We depend on donations from individuals, foundations, and businesses to keep providing our many services to the community. Please contact Darrin Korte at firstname.lastname@example.org for more information.
