Becoming a Resilience Hub
at the Cambridge Community Center
Increasing our IMPACT. Decreasing our CARBON FOOTPRINT.
We are excited to announce that we have partnered with the Urban Sustainability Directors Network and the Barr Foundation to establish the Cambridge Community Center as the first Resilience Hub in New England.
As a trusted community gathering space and service provider, we are well situated to meet the increased needs in our community while simultaneously improving the physical state of our building in order to become a Resilience Hub. We are committed to the five Resilience Hub foundational areas (Services & Programs, Communications, Building & Landscapes, Power, and Operations) and will leverage our trusted reputation in the community to enhance and improve community support structures, increase commitment to proactive action and better support the community members who utilize and rely on CCC daily.
