Over the past 20 months, the word unprecedented has been used to describe many things that have negatively impacted so many of our community members. An unprecedented global pandemic. Unprecedented levels of food insecurity. Unprecedented financial need, just to name a few.
What has also been unprecedented during this time is the outpouring of support that we have received from volunteers as our community came together when it was needed most. During this time, we have engaged over 300 volunteers, many of whom are members of our community who also utilize our services. They have collectively dedicated over 20,000 hours of their time, supporting each other and embodying our decades-long guiding principle: Building Community Together.
