Teen STEAM

Teen STEAM is a summer program that offers a series of hands on design challenges related to the fields of Science, Technology, Engineering, Art, and Math.

Teens in the program will explore careers in the STEM fields through engaging in fun, hands-on activities and projects centered around different engineering design challenges. Teens will also take field trips to connect their design challenges to real world careers. in 2017, the majority of our design challenges were related to environmental engineering. The program uses curriculum from the Museum of Science’s Engineering Everywhere series.

Teen STEAM is a free program for rising 9th and 10th graders and is a partnership between the City of Cambridge, the Cambridge Community Center, and the Mayor’s Summer Youth Employment Program.
