Who we are...
Located in the Riverside neighborhood of Cambridge, between Central Square and Memorial Drive, the Cambridge Community Center has been serving the community for over 86 years. Today our mission is to promote community cooperation and unity and empower youth, individuals, and families. We do this by offering social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities.
What we do....
We have four programs for youth at the CCC:
CCC Enriches K-5 After School Program
CCC Inspires Middle School After School Program
CCC Empowers year-round Teen Volunteer Program
Cowemoki Summer Enrichment Program summer program for K-8
Our youth programs run 51 weeks of the year, without fail. We are also proud to accept EEC vouchers and offer tuition assistance to income eligible families. Our hours and rates give you the flexibility you need while our program gives your child the very best. Sign up today!
The Center also offers programming for people of all ages! We founded the first ever Cambridge Winter Farmers Market, which runs from January to April inside our full-size gymnasium. We have hold professional art shows in our Riverside Gallery. We also rent space in our building to community groups and for events. We are also proud to be a part of the Cambridge Food and Fitness Policy Council. More community programs and events are added regularly, so keep up with our news here, on Facebook, Twitter, and our mailing list (see right).
You can get involved here in many ways. Enroll your child, donate, volunteer, rent a space! As a community center, we truly rely on the support of the community, which we believe extends far beyond our neighborhood. Please consider supporting us so we can continue to fulfill our mission.
