Who we are...
Located in the Riverside neighborhood of Cambridge, between Central Square and Memorial Drive, the Cambridge Community Center has been serving the community for over 84 years. Today our mission is to promote community cooperation and unity and empower youth, individuals, and families. We do this by offering social, cultural, educational, and recreational activities. What we do.... Youth programs We have four programs for youth at the CCC: CCC ENRICHES K-5 After School Program CCC INSPIRES Middle School After School Program CCC EMPOWERS year-round Teen Volunteer Program Cowemoki Summer Enrichment Program summer program for K-8 Our youth programs run 51 weeks of the year, without fail. We are also proud to accept EEC vouchers and offer tuition assistance to income eligible families. The Center also offers programming for people of all ages! We founded the first ever Cambridge Winter Farmers Market, which runs from January to April inside our full-size gymnasium. We have hold professional art shows in our Riverside Gallery. We also rent space in our building to community groups and for events. We are also proud to offer Free Diabetes Nutrition Classes with Community Servings, Margaret Fuller Neighborhood House, and Novartis.
